Peggy Gallimore

Peggy Ann Ward Gallimore, 71, of Asheboro, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Peak Resources/Pinelake in Carthage . She was born in Randolph County on October 12, 1950. She worked as a seamstress at Ithaca and Cross Creek Apparel. Peggy enjoyed playing bingo and going fishing. She cherished time spent with her children and family.

She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Johnny and Annie Allison.

Peggy is survived by her sons, Douglas Ward, of Aberdeen and Rodney Ward of Ellerbe; brother, Garry Ward (Robin) of Asheboro and a host of family and friends.

A private graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Smyrna UMC Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Hussey presiding. Joyce-Brady Chapel will be open on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm for friends to sign the register.
