Willis Herbert Brady, 94, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at Moore Regional Hospital. The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at High Falls UMC with Rev. Robert Kidd and Rev. Chris Wilson presiding. Friends may come by Joyce-Brady Chapel from 10:00 am-5:00 pm on Monday, October 26, 2020 to sign the register.
Willis was born in Randolph County on June 29, 1926 to Wiley Herbert Brady and Bertha Mae Welch. He attended High Falls Friends church. Willis worked for the DOT for 20 years, Trotter Furniture for 25 years, and Moore County Collection Centers for 15 years. He was an avid motorcyclist. He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, visiting local restaurants and fussing about the Atlanta Braves. He loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Willis was preceded in death by his son, Gary Lynn Brady; sister, Pauline Kowal; brother, Odell Brady and granddaughter, Angel Garner.
He is survived by sons, Odell Brady (Doris), of Robbins, Michael Brady (Wanda), of Asheboro and David Brady, of High Falls; sisters, Helen Councilman, of Bear Creek and Ester Garner, of Archdale; grandchildren, Mikie Brady (Melissa), Shawn Luton (Allison) and Jamie Brady; five great-grandchildren; 2 nephews, one niece and a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to High Falls Christian Church Fellowship Hall Fund, 1159 Hwy 22, High Falls, NC 27259.
