Wanda Estridge

Wanda Lenora Phillips Estridge, 65, of Bear Creek died Thursday, October 20, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Bear Creek with Rev. Darrell Garner presiding. The family will recieve friends from 11:00 - 11:45 prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

Wanda was born on April 1, 1957, in Chatham County, daughter of the late Floyd Phillips and Zonie Teague Phillips. She worked as a phlebotomist at Chatham Primary for many years. Reading, collecting dolls, gardening and traveling were a few of many things she enjoyed. She adored her family and loved spending as much time with them as possible. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Casey Estridge and her nephew Jeremy Moses.

She is survived by her two sons, Chad Estridge and wife Alyson and Dalton Estridge and fiancé’ Rose Maness, all of Bennett; three sisters; Cindy Phillips of Port Orange, Florida, Nancy Peters and Donny of Bear Creek, Lisa Groves and Charlie of Durham, Maine and one brother, Jim Phillips and Joyce of Broadway; five grandchildren, Kaylee Hall, Nicole Estridge, Grady Estridge, Parker Estridge and Grace Estridge and a host of family and friends.
