Walter Nall

Mr. John Walter Nall, 81, of Bear Creek, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at his home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Fall Creek Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Rev. Edwin Moore and Rev. George Townsend presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30-1:45 and other times at the family home.

Walter was born on December 9, 1937 to Eva Lillian Phillips and Rosevelt Velton Nall, who preceded him in death. He raised chickens and worked as a USDA Inspector for 27 years. He was an avid turkey and deer hunter and enjoyed car racing. He loved his church.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Mae Fields Nall; daughter, Sharon N. Cagle (Alvin) of Randleman; grandchild, Shantel Lane Cagle, of Asheboro; and a host of family and friends.
