Teri Bowman

Ms. Terry Heaton Bowman, 55, of 395 Bradford Lane, Siler City, NC, passed away at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill on Saturday, November 23, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Carbonton United Methodist Church in Goldston, with Rev. Billy Joe Brady officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Bowman was a native of Moore County, and was the daughter of the late Bobby Wayne Heaton, Sr. and Linda Brown Heaton. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jeremy Martindale. Ms. Bowman was self-employed and had her own cleaning business. She loved gardening, flowers, crafts, and she especially loved her daughters and family.

She is survived by her daughters, Megan Oldham of Goldston, Lindsay Oldham of Siler City, and Kelly Kontos and her husband, Johnny of Greensboro; sister, Mary “Chris” Everwine and her husband, David of Siler City; brothers, Bobby Wayne Heaton, Jr. of Asheboro, and Jeff Lautzenheiser and his wife, Diane of Braselton, Georgia; granddaughters, Avery Oldham and Eleni Kontos; grandsons, Addison Oldham and Brennen Oldham; special friends, Patti Jo Justice, Venita Brewer; and godparents, Mae and Oscar Story.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Joyce-Brady Chapel in Bennett and at the other times at her home. You may offer online condolences at www.joycebradychapel.com.
