Teressa Brown

Mrs. Teressa Jordan Brown, 46, of Siler City, N.C., died Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Siler City Center. The visitation will be held Tuesday evening, at Joyce Brady Chapel from 6 - 8 p.m. . The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, with Rev. Don Edwards and Rev. Darrell Garner officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

Teressa was born in Chatham County, N.C. in 1970, daughter of the late Rufus Lewis Jordan, Jr. and Shirley Beck Jordan. She worked as a Pharmacy Tech at U.N.C. Hospital . Teressa devoted her life to work and raising her sons, she so lovingly referred to as her "Babies". Teressa was taken into the care of Siler City Center as the result of a motorcycle accident over two years ago, in which her husband did not survive. Becoming a resident there, she was blessed to have none other than her own grandmother, Geneva Beck, as a roommate. In addition to the great care she received from the staff of the Siler City Center, she had her mother there each day, at her side, offering comfort each step of the way. Teressa was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, yet it brings comfort to the hearts of her family, knowing her pain and suffering has ended and she is with the Lord. In addition to her father and her husband, Justin Brown, she was preceded in death by her sons, Trevor-Tate and Zimiriah Brown.

She is survived by her three sons, Chris, Trent and Curtis Brown all of Siler City, N.C., Her mother, Shirley Beck Jordan of Bear Creek, N.C., her grandmother, Geneva Beck of Siler City, her brother Earl Jordan of Bear Creek, N.C. and a host of family and friends.
