Shirley Haithcox Caviness

Shirley Louise Haithcox Caviness, 77, of Robbins, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Peak Resources in Carthage. A memorial service will be held at Joyce-Brady Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2023 with Rev. Terry Warren presiding.

Shirley was born in Randolph County on March 28, 1946, to Theodore and Vella Caviness Haithcox. She loved to cook and enjoyed working in her yard. She cherished her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Caviness; sisters, Barbara Stephenson, Annie Ore and Patsy Jean Haithcox and brothers, Glenn, Winfred, and Bonnie Jr. Haithcox.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
