Mr. Rudolph Clayton Willett, Jr. “Tink”, age 76, of Randolph Street in Bennett, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 10, 2015. He was preceded in death by his Father, Sister, and Granddaughter Courtney Willett.
A Memorial Service will be held 2pm Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Bennett Baptist Church in Bennett, with the Rev. Tim Strider, and John Phillips officiating.
Mr. Willett “Tink” was a Chatham County native, a truck driver for over 40 years for Klaussner’s Furniture. He liked to camp, ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, but most of all loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his Son-Tony K. Willett & Gina of Bennett; Grandson-Clay Willett & his wife Jennifer of Asheboro; Great-Granddaughter-Addison Willett; Mother- Pearl Willett of Bennett; Brothers-James (Bub) Willett & wife Vernece of Asheboro, Bill Willett & wife Pat of Bennett; Sisters- Emma Hoffman of Lexington, Lanie Estridge & husband Tony of Bennett, Dottie Mendenhall & husband Larry of Siler City; Special Friend-Berlene Wright of Asheboro.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, Memorials be made to Jim’s Kids, 2262 Race Track Road, Sophia, NC 27350.
