Ronnie Wayne Maness, 58, of Robbins passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Peak Resources-Pinelake. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Joyce-Brady Chapel, in Bennett, with Rev. Shaun Garner presiding. The family will receive friends before the service from 11:00-11:45 am. Burial will follow the service at the Maness Family Section of Pleasant Hill UMC Cemetery.
Wayne was born in Chatham County on July 11, 1963 to Ola Nadine James Maness and Ronnie Roger Maness. He attended Acorn Ridge Baptist Church and worked as a dyer at Acme McCrary for 32 years. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, WWE Wrestling, fishing , heavy metal music and his cat, “Jordy”. He was a loving father, son and friend.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nadine Maness.
Wayne is survived by his children, Jeffery Wayne Maness and wife, Meagan King Maness, of Randleman and Jessica Maness Story and husband, David Wayne Story, of Asheboro; father and step-mother, Ronnie R. Maness and Barbara, of Robbins; several aunts and uncles and a host of family and friends.
