Mr. Roger Clarence Cagle, 76, of Seagrove, died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Randolph Hospice in Asheboro. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Church Cemetery on Fork Creek Mill Road in Seagrove, with Dr. Neal Jackson and Dr. Ron Chaney presiding. The family will recieve friends following the graveside service.
Roger was born in Randolph County, N.C. on July 5, 1941, son of the late Lonnie Clarence Cagle and Della Mae Graves Cagle. He owned and operated Cagle Surveys and also farmed and raised cattle. He enjoyed Nascar Racing and loved spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by infant daughter Andrea Cagle, one sister, Katherine Cagle and one brother Joe Cagle. He is survived by four children; Angelia R. Lynch and husband Gregory of Seagrove, Cheryl Annette Bean of Cordova; Douglas C. Cagle and wife Annette and Jason Clyde Cagle and wife Virginia all of Seagrove; Two brothers, Gerald Cagle and wife Patricia of Seagrove and Benny Cagle and wife Shirley of Anderson, S.C.; Four grandchildren, Elijah Bean, Marannda Lynch, Dawson Cagle and Hailee Cagle and a host of family and friends.
