High Falls: Robert “ Vernon” Kidd 82, of 2116 Wilson Rd., High Falls passed away Monday December 5, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday December 8, 2011 at High Falls Friends Church at 11 am with Rev. Ben Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
Mr. Kidd was a Moore Co. native and was a retired truck driver for Denning Paving Co. Mr. Kidd loved hot rods , drag racing & fishing. He attended the High Falls Friends Church.
Mr. Kidd is survived by Wife- Marion Shields Kidd of the home. Daughter- Patricia Kidd Goodhue of the home. Son- Robert David Kidd of Wilmington, NC. 6 Grandchildren- Dave Kidd, Katie Kidd, Ronald Scott, John Scott, Michael Goodhue, & Cale Goodhue. 8 Great-Grandchildren
Visitation will be held Wednesday December 7, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC 27208 and other times at his home. You may offer online condolences at www.joycebradychapel.com
