Richard Earl Fox, 53, of Bennett, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Moore Regional Hospital. Due to the current COVID-19 mandate, there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday. The viewing room at Joyce-Brady Chapel will be open on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 10:00 am-5:00 pm for friends to sign the register.
Richard was born in Chatham County, on October 31, 1966 to Eva Louise Baker Fox and Albert Thomas Fox. He was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a supervisor in maintenance at Townsend. He enjoyed auto racing, riding around, hunting and fishing. He especially loved his family and being with his grandchildren.
He is survived by, Pamela Jean Gaddis, of the home; son, Timothy Earl Fox (Nickie), of Bennett; daughter, April Reene Hoskins (Brandon) of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; mother, Eva Fox, of Siler City; father, Albert Fox (Norma), of Asheboro; sister, Linda Weidman (Jerry), of Asheboro; brothers, Thurman Fox (Kim), of Staley and Wayne Fox, of Siler City; grandchildren, Timothy Fox, Bailee Fox, Addison Fox, Jacob Partin, Ashlynne Fox, Caroline Hoskins, Maisie Hoskins, Henslee Hoskins, Klaude Hoskins; several step-siblings and a host of family and friends.
