Redell Sheffield

Mr. Redell Madison Sheffield 67, of 551 Lake Street, in Robbins, NC, passed away at FirstHealth Moore Regional in Pinehurst on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted, Tuesday, December 17, at 11:00am, at Joyce-Brady Chapel in Bennett with Rev. Jacyln Jones & Rev. Kenneth McNeill officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Friends Church cemetery in Eagle Springs.
Mr. Sheffield was a native of Moore County, and was the son of the late Elder Ree Sheffield, and Dora Morgan Sheffield. He had retired from Millikan Mills in Robbins. He loved to spend time with his family, work on and repair lawnmowers as well as small engines. He is survived by his daughters-Tammy S. Johnson & husband Marvin of Eagle Springs, Rose E. Sheffield of the home; sons-David Sheffield & wife Mary Helen of Robbins; Jimmy Sheffield of Eagle Springs; sisters- Irene S. Davis & husband Ed of Star, Doris York of Coleridge, Joyce S. Hurley & husband Worth of Seagrove, Iris S. Lambert of Robbins; brother-Floyd Sheffield & wife Shelia of Robbins; mother- Dora Morgan Sheffield of Eagle Springs;sister-in-law- Brenda Sheffield of Eagle Springs; brother-in-law-Norman Lineberry of Tobaccoville; 5 Grandchildren & 5 Great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Elder Sheffield, Brothers, Roger, Cecil, Jerry, Sister, Ester Lineberry, and Brother-in-law Jesse York. Visitation will be held 6-8pm, Monday, December 16, 2013 at Joyce-Brady Chapel in Bennett, and at the other times at the home in Robbins. You may offer online condolences at www.joycebradychapel.com.
