Nova Garner

Bennett: Nova Hussey Garner 89, of 259 Carlyle Rd., Bennett passed away Sunday December 25, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday December 28, 2011 at 2 pm at the High Falls Wesleyan Church where she was a charter member, with Rev. Roger Riffe and Rev. Billy Joe Brady officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
Mrs. Garner was a Moore Co. native and had retired from Chirpy’s BBQ and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Garner and daughter Helen McDowell.
Mrs. Garner is survived by-Daughter- Shirley Garner of the home. Son- Johnny Garner & wife Sara of Bennett. Grandchildren- Randy McDowell, Richard McDowell, Johnny Ray Garner,& Teasha Philbrick. 5 Great-Grandchildren. Son-In-Law- Jerry McDowell. Sister- Willa Mae Carlyle of Bennett. Brother- Charlie Hussey & wife Esther of Bennett.
Visitation will be held Tuesday December 27, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC 27208 and other times at the home.
