Naomi Brown

Naomi Marley Brown, age 79, of Lewis Brown Road in Bennett passed away Monday May 11, 2015, at FIrstHealth Hospice in Pinehurst. She was the daughter of late William Plennie Marley and Flossie Mae Stutts Marley.  She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband- William Henry Brown; Sisters- Ruth Maness, Edna Garner, Virginia Moore, and Julia Marley; Brothers-Graham, Everette, and Grady Marley.

Ms. Brown was survived by her Sisters-Barbara Reynolds & husband John of Robbins, and Emily Owens & her husband Bobby of Robbins; Brother- Norman Marley of Robbins. Several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank her Caregivers, Hannah Sparks & Doris Garner for their love and care of Naomi.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church, and had sung in the church choir, and taught a Sunday school class. She also loved to sing, play the piano, travel, and loved to work in her flowers.

Funeral Service will be 11am Friday, May 15, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Bennett with Rev. Mark Strickland and Rev. Chris Wood officiating. Burial will follow after the service in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6-8pm Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Joyce-Brady Chapel in Bennett.
