Mr. Michael Ray “Possum” Brewer, age 60 of Dusty Road in Goldston passed away Friday March 13, 2015, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. He was the son of the late Herbert Hoover Brewer & Mary Lee Nall Brewer.  A Graveside Service will be held 3pm Monday March 16, 2015 at Carbonton United Methodist Church in Goldston with Rev. David King officiating.

Mr. Brewer was a people person and enjoyed meeting and talking with people, and was an avid Nascar Fan. He also loved his family and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Veneita Elkins Brewer of the home; Sons-Christopher M. Brewer & wife Brandy of Goldston, and Talmadge Colton Brewer  of the home; Granddaughters- Chloe  & Claire Brewer; Mother-Mary Lee Nall Brewer of Carbonton; Sister- Patricia Brewer Daw of Carthage; Brother- Danny Brewer of Goldston .

Visitation will be held 6-8pm Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Joyce-Brady Chapel in Bennett.
