Mary Hussey

Mary Hunsucker Lambert Hussey, 93, of Robbins, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at her home. The viewing room at Joyce-Brady Chapel will be open from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Pine Rest Cemetery in Robbins.

Mary was born on October 26, 1928 to Edgar and Verbena Hunsucker. She was a member of Smyrna Methodist Church and retired from Ithaca Industries after 50+ years of service. She enjoyed cooking, reading her Bible, playing the piano and talking with her friends. Mary loved baking for her family and friends and caring for people.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Hobert Lambert and Vernon Hussey; sister, Virginia Granna and brothers, W.A. Hunsucker and James Hunsucker.

She is survived by her daughter, Becky Martindale (Floyd); son, Eddie Lambert; sister, Brenda Hare (Joy); brothers, Paul Hunsucker (Christine) and Sam Hunsucker (Clara); sister-in-law, Wanda Hunsucker and a host of family and friends.
