Marion Kidd

Marion Kidd, 90, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Pinelake Health and Rehab Facility in Carthage, NC.

Marion was born October 15, 1928 to the late Efland Archie Shields and Etta Brady Shields in Moore County and was a resident of Robbins, NC. She was employed with Klopman Mills in Ramseur, NC. for many years. She was a devoted life-long member of High Falls Friends’ Church. Marion enjoyed shopping, loved her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.

Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Kidd and grandson, Ronald Scott.

Survivors include daughter, Patricia Goodhue of the home, son, Robert “David” Kidd and wife Barbara of Wilmington, NC. 5 Grandchildren, Kate Johnson, Dave Kidd II, Michael Goodhue, Cale Goodhue, John Scott. 9 Great-Grandchildren, Christian Jacob Johnson, Cole Johnson, Joshua David Kidd, Vanessa Goodhue, Waylon Goodhue, Emily Goodhue, Zachary Scott, Logan Scott, Caleb Scott. 1 Great-Great Grandchild, Sebastian Scott.

The Graveside service will be 1:00pm, Monday, April 29, 2019 at High Falls Christian Church Cemetery with Reverend Chris Wilson presiding.
