Louvene Garner Rasnake

Louvene Garner Rasnake, 95, of Robbins, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023 at FirstHealth Hospice House. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Pleasant Hill UMC with Rev. Colton Moore and Rev. Vic Hill presiding. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.

Louvene was born in Moore County on April 16, 1928 to Alexander and Lessie Williams Garner. She was a hosiery sewer and enjoyed going to church. She loved her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carthell Garner; sister, Hilda Boles and granddaughter, Christa.

She is survived by her children, Jollene Frye, Roma Sowards and Ethan Gilliland; sister, Jane Maness; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
