Lois Spain

Mrs. Lois Morgan Spain, 96, of Siler City, formerly of Pittsboro, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at The Siler City Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Lois was born in Granville County, N.C. in 1919, daughter of the late N.E. Morgan and Annie Woody. She loved going to church and participating in any functions there that she could. She loved people and visiting with her family and friends brought her much joy. She retired from Chatham Mills after 40 years of dedicated service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Spain in 1975 and her sister Lottie Lee Overton.

She is survived by her Great Nephew, Charles Batchelor and wife Johnnie of Siler City, N.C. and Great Niece, Lynn Jones of Apex, N.C. and longtime friend Janie Brown.
