Biography

Seagrove: Mr. Lloyd Coolidge Garner 79, of 6309 Erect Rd., Seagrove, NC passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Woodland Hills in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Antioch Christian Church where he was a member with Rev. Brian Faircloth & Rev. Gerald Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
Mr. Garner was a Randolph Co. native and was a retired sawmill worker. Mr. Garner was an avid musician and was a master banjo picker. He loved his music and over the years played with a lot of groups.
Mr. Garner is survived by Wife- Penny Cox Garner of the home. Step-Son- John Christie & wife Angela of Asheboro. 3 Step -Granddaughters- Jaclyn, Alex, & Ashlyn Christie all of Asheboro. Sister- Mavine Yow of Seagrove. Brother- Amon Garner of Asheboro.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC 27208 and other times at the home. You may offer online condolences at www.joycebradychapel.com
