Mrs. Linda "Susan" Marley, 59, of Eagle Springs, N.C. , died Friday, September 16, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, N.C. . The visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, at the Joyce-Brady Chapel in Bennett, N.C. . A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Russell Brownworth presiding.
Susan was born in Chatham County, N.C. in 1957, daughter of the late Clarence Junior Caviness and Beatrice C. English. She worked in cabinet making for many years and later worked as a C.N.A. . She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her grandson. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rickey Junior Caviness.
She is survived by her fiance', Donald Freeman of the home, her mother and step-father, Beatrice C. English and Eugene "Peanut" English of Bennett, N.C., one daughter, Erica Thompson of Seagrove, N.C., one son, Stephen Marley of Robbins, N.C., two sisters, Vickie Heirn and husband Steve of Bennett, N.C., Betty Allred and husband Terry of Franklinville, N.C., one brother, Mickey Caviness and wife Kay of Star, N.C., four grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
