June Bray

Mrs. June Carol Bray, 58, of Bear Creek, N.C., died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her beloved family. The family will receive friends for visitation at Joyce-Brady Chapel in Bennett, N.C. on Friday, January 13 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Joyce-Brady Chapel Saturday, January 14, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Billy Joe Brady presiding; followed by a graveside service at Brush Creek Baptist Church in Bear Creek, N.C.

June Carol was born in Chatham county on November 26, 1958. She is remembered by her caring and selfless nature, which created a loving environment both in the home for her children and grandchildren, and the daycare in which she offered her services. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bobby Bray, along with her children Donald Bray and wife Sara Bray, Dwight Bray and fiancé Rebecca Willett, Brandy Brewer and husband Christopher Brewer, Brittney McGeachy and fiancé Shon Jones, and brother, William (Smiley) Thomas. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Hunter Bray, Madyson Bray, Corey Bray, Courtney Bray, Cassidy Bray, Piper Bray, Chloe Brewer, Claire Brewer, and Kobe Jones.

She is preceded in death by her parents Willard Dunn and Nancy Thomas, and brothers Kenneth Beal, Billy Ray Thomas, and Charlie Thomas.
