Judy Phillips

Mrs. Judy Marie Phillips, 70, of Asheboro, died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Randolph Hospice House. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018, at Tyson’s Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Wachs presiding. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery, after which the family will return to the fellowship hall to greet with friends and attendees.

Judy was born in Nashville, TN. in 1947, daughter of the late Thomas Edgar Kingsmill and Hazel Marie Scott Kingsmill. She was a homemaker taking great pride in raising her family. She loved music and dancing and gardening, and it brought great personal joy to her helping those in need.

She is survived by her daughters, Tonya Marie Phillips of Greensboro, N.C. and Ronda Phillips Newgard and husband Keith of Randleman, N.C. ; Brother, Thomas Kingsmill and wife Debbie of Haleyville, Alabama, three sisters; Patricia Kingsmill of Robbins, N.C.,  Gail Stanley and husband Gary of Goodlettsville, Tn. and Mary Parella and husband Jerry of Burns, Tn.; one granddaughter, Lindsey Marie Maness of Siler City, N.C. and a host of family and friends.
