Judy Anderson

Judy Carolyn Inman Anderson, 73, of Bennett passed away on April 14, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. The graveside service will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church, where she was a member, at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2021 with Rev. Jim Petty presiding. Joyce-Brady Chapel will be open on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. for those who wish to sign the register. Attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Judy was born in Surry County on September 24, 1947 to Jesse Elbert Inman and Mary Ruby McLawhorn Inman. She worked with her husband operating a trucking business. She enjoyed keeping children in her home and traveling. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Inman and Bob Inman and sister-in-law, Kay Inman.

Judy is survived by her husband of 55 years, James H. Anderson, of the home; children, James “Michael” Anderson (Lisa), of Ramseur, Barbara Ann Cole (Howard), of Saint Pauls, Brenda Carol Anderson, of Bennett and Bonnie Kay Fincher (Starsky), of Bear Creek; brothers, Paul Inman (Janice), of Bear Creek and Roy Lee Inman, of Deep River; grandchildren, Doug Anderson, Jon Anderson, Amanda Turner (Robert), Chris Thomas, Brittany Johnson, Lindsay Johnson, Emily Fincher, Cameron Fincher, and Riley Branson; great-grandchildren, Raylan Turner, Ruby Johnson, Charlotte Johnson, Bailey Akers, Dawton Smith and Leeland Akers and a host of family and friends.
