Joseph Lee Crabtree, 46, of High Falls, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Moore County on June 1, 1974 to Herman Lee Crabtree and Mary Sheffield Crabtree. He was a carpenter and was also preparing to take over the family poultry farm. He attended Smyrna United Methodist Church. Joe enjoyed riding his Harley, traveling, boating and camping at Jordan Lake. He loved spending time with his family and friends;
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Crystal G. Crabtree, of the home; son, Chason Lee Crabtree, of the home; sister, Connie Lowe (David), of High Falls; brother, Daniel “Jack” Crabtree (Sharon), of High Falls; nephew, Brandon Lowe, of Charleston, SC; nieces, Cadie and Camryn Lowe, of High Falls and Logan, Avery and Raegan Crabtree, of High Falls and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Joyce-Brady Chapel from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
