John Hamer III
December 5, 1942 — February 15, 2016
Mr. John Wynnsore Hamer, III, 73, of Siler City, died Monday, February 15, 2016 at U.N.C Hospital in Chapel Hill. A Memorial Graveside will be held sometime in the spring.
John was born in Chatham County in 1942, son of the late John W. Hamer, Jr. and Louise L. Marley. John was a 1964 graduate of Appalachian State. He worked for British Petroleum (BP), as an accountant for more than 20 years. John loved spending time at the beach, fishing and bowling. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by two sons, Brian Hamer and Christopher Hamer both of Seveirville, Tn., one brother, James E. Hamer of Leicester, N.C. and special family Sergio and Zully Maldonado, MariaJose, Hermoza and Jesus Preciado Lopez all of Bear Creek, N.C. and a host of family and friends.
The family requests memorials be made to The First Wesleyan Church % Pastor Don 608 N.Third Avenue Siler City, N.C. 27344 or a charity of one's choice.
