Mr. John Henry Anderson died peacefully on Tuesday November 28, 2017 at the Magnolia House Retirement Center in Sanford, North Carolina. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
John was born March 10, 1921 in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. He served in World War II in the U.S. Navy on the USS Cincinnati. After his time in service he worked as an Auto-Body Repair man. Anderson loved spending his spare time with family, friends, fishing, and reading. He was preceded in death by his father James Anderson, mother Retha Cauliflower, and wife Jewel Anderson. He is survived by his son James H. Anderson and wife Judy of Bennett, his daughter Linda Tompkins and husband Jay of Charleston, SC, his son Jeff Anderson and wife Linda of Morongo Valley, CA along with his 7 grandchildren, 11 great grand children, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
