Homer Ray Brady, 87, of Robbins passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, April 18, 2021 after several months of declining health.
Homer, born April 5, 1934, to Clina and Madie Lambert Brady, was a retired grow-out manager for Showell Poultry.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Velna Cheek Brady, of the home; a son, Gary Brady and wife, Pam, of Carthage; two daughters, Teresa Thomas and husband, David, of Robbins and Melinda Andrews and husband, Rowdy, of Carthage; a step-son, Randy Nichols, of Robbins; two step-daughters, Cathy Kellam and husband, Kelly, of Biscoe and Joanne Scott and husband, Rodney, of Robbins; six grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service is planned for Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Fall Creek Baptist Church, Bennett, NC at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. John Williamson and Rev. Jamie Sink presiding.
