Heather was born in Pinehurst, N.C. in 1979, daughter of Timothy Ernest Moon and Brenda Phillips Moon. At five months of age, due to medical complications, Heathers' life and that of her families changed forever. Heather attended Faith Christian School and later graduated from North Moore High School with the Class of 2001. She loved going to church with her family. Heather loved Yianni and his staff at Carolina Fried Chicken (Chicken Hut)in Robbins, and Saturday morning visits to Hardees, for a biscuit and sweet tea. Throughout her life, Heather was given dolls, which she treasured and never parted with; a collection now numbering in the thousands.
She was loved by all who knew her, especially her family, who never left her side and saw to her every need, in her 37 years that God loaned her to this world. Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ted and Bronna Phillips and her paternal grandmother, Inez Keller Moon, cousin, Braxton Phillips and uncle, Mike Moon.
She is survived by her parents, Tim and Brenda Moon of the home, her brother, Timothy Justin Moon of Castle Hayne, N.C., paternal grandfather, Otis Moon of Snow Camp, N.C. and a host of family and friends. Condolences may be offered online at www.joycebradychapel.com .
