Estherlene Mendoza

Mrs. Estherlene Marie Collins Mendoza, 43, of Lucama, N.C., formerly of Robbins, N.C., died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, N.C. .

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Bright Light Baptist Church in Robbins, N.C., with Chaplain Allen H. Hale officiating. Burial immediately following the service at the Garner Family Cemetery in Robbins, N.C. .

The visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday night at Joyce Brady Chapel in Bennett, N.C. .

Esther was born in Moore County, N.C. in 1972, daughter of Bob Ranford Collins and Wanda Faye Jacobs. She worked as a Med-Tech and C.N.A. in the healthcare field most of her life. Along with spending time with her family and friends, Esther enjoyed shopping, gardening and going to the beach. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and one sister, Rebecca Collins and a daughter, Emma Grace Mendoza.

She is survived by her husband, Armondo Mendoza-Ramirez of the home, Four sons, Andrew Alexander Collins and wife Bridgette of Vass, N.C., Austin Nevada Collins, Alan Joseph Collins Burgess and Kyle Thomas Collins Burgess all of Robbins, N.C., Mother and Step-Father, Wanda Faye Hale and Alan of Randleman, N.C., Father and Step-mother, Bob Collins and Teresa of Lillington, N.C.. Three sisters, Rhonda Lynn Brewer and Bryan of Spies, N.C., Charity Davon Rouse of Robbins, N.C. and Jessica Marie Collins of Sanford, N.C., two brothers, James Wesley Collins of Troy, N.C. and Bob Ranford Collins, Jr. of Lillington, N.C. and a host of family and friends.
