Earle Ben Andrew

Earle Ben Andrew, 83, of Robbins, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Peak Resources in Carthage. The family will receive friends at Joyce-Brady Chapel from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Rocky River Friends Church with Rev. Arnold Comer presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Earle was born in Chatham County on September 2, 1939 to Burton and Eula Whitehead Andrew. He was a member of Rocky River Friends Church in Staley and a US Army Veteran. He retired from REMC as a lineman supervisor after 45 years of service. Earle was an avid coon hunter and enjoyed watching sports and listening to bluegrass music. He loved being with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Felecia Beavers.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bessie P. Andrew, of the home; sons, Dwain David Andrew, of Seagrove and Darrell Andrew (Renee), of Robbins; grandchildren, Regina Mabe, Celes Sandt, Justin Andrew, Chasity Agnew and Nicki Garner; great-grandchildren, Jarrett Andrew, Zoe Andrew, Claire Sandt, Eliza Sandt, Ariel Agnew and J.J. Garner and a host of family and friends.
