Davina Blankenship

Ms. Davina Rachelle Blankenship (28) died Sunday December 10, 2017 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC. She was born April 28, 1989 in Orange County, NC. Davina worked for Frontier Mills in Textiles. She enjoyed animals, music, singing, dancing, and cooking in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Cecil Royal Blankenship and maternal grandfather, Onsby Hurst.  She is survived by her father David J. Blankenship of Siler City, her mother Jennifer E. Dunn and husband J.D. of Bear Creek, her maternal grandmother Yvonne Hurst of Bear Creek, her paternal grandmother Coreena Blankenship, and her brother David Royal Blankenship and wife Brittany of Rhode Island.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Christian Church with Rev. Don Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made to Joyce-Brady Chapel P.O.
