Mr. Dallas Junior "Buck" Mofield 73, of 36141 US Hwy 1 South, Aberdeen, NC passed away Friday, April 04, 2014 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 7, 2014 at 2pm at Brown's Chapel Christian Church with Rev. Jeff Karnes & Rev. Larry Bullard officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at the church cemetery.
Mr. Mofield was a Moore County native and was an Army Veteran. He was a retired supervisor from Doxey Furniture and had also worked at Hal Enterprises. It brought "Buck" a lot of joy working and restoring old cars. He had a passion for Mustangs. He was preceded in death by his Son- Travis Wayne Mofield, Parents- Dallas & Bertha Mofield, and several brothers and sisters.
MR. Mofield is survived by Wife- Ann Moore Mofield of the home. Sons- Michael Mofield & wife Shannon of Riverview, Florida, & Keith Mofield of the home. Daughter- Lisa Gwynn of Aberdeen. Grandchildren-Brandi, Brittany, Angela, Matt, Brandon, Cody, Cameron, Chris, and 4 Great-Grandchildren. Sister- Ann Rogers & husband Rayon of Ellerbe. Sister-In-Laws- Kathie Mofield of Bedford, Mass., & Annie Mofield of Seagrove. Brother-In-Law & Sister-In-Law- J.J. & JoAnn Moore of Robbins, and his best friend, Ralph Tate of Aberdeen.
The family will receive friends Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 6-8pm at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home, 402 Saunders St., Carthage, NC and other times at his home and at the home of his brother in law J.J.
