Mr. Colon “Harold” Chriscoe, 81, of Seagrove, N.C., died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at his home in the comfort of his loving family. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Joyce – Brady Chapel in Bennett. The Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Trinity Wesleyan Church Cemetery in Seagrove with Rev. Josh LeRoy presiding.
Harold was born in Randolph County, N.C. in 1936, son of the late Clifford Ernest Chriscoe and Sylvia Kearns Chriscoe. He was a Master Mechanic and Repairman. He loved gardening, and in his youth, enjoyed squirrel and bird hunting. Harold was known as a kind and honest man and was loved by all who knew him, especially his family of whom he cherished.
In addition to his parents Harold was preceded in death by six of his siblings, his wife of 43 years, Pauline Chriscoe and his daughter, Wilma Dunlap. He is survived by 3 children, Glenn G. Chriscoe and Denise of Seagrove, NC., James B. Chriscoe and Debbie of Siler City, NC., Kenna C. Cranford and Scott of Seagrove, NC., 3 brothers, Roy Chriscoe and Glenna of Seagrove, NC., Wayne Chriscoe and Linda of Seagrove, NC., Maxton Chriscoe and Linda of Seagrove, NC., 2 sisters, Elsie Johnson and Steve of Seagrove, NC., Ernestine Chriscoe of West Jefferson, NC., 12 grandchildren, Jamie Chriscoe, Andy Chriscoe, Christina Heckman, Genna Schmitt, Mandy Warden, Janice Chriscoe, Ricky Culberson, Riley Culberson, Dale Cranford, Darren Cranford, Stephanie Forrester, Joshua Dunlap, 12 great-grandchildren, Brennon Forrester, Brantley Forrester, Braxton Forrester, Brayden Dunlap, Haley Culberson, Owen Culberson, Lane Culberson, Madison Chriscoe, Robbie Heckman, Gavin Heckman, Genna Mazzie Williams, Decklan Smith and a host of friends and family abroad.
