Christine Langley

Christine Shields Langley, 87, of Siler City, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Hospice House in Pittsboro. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Pine Mountain Church, in Bennett with Rev. Chris Wilson and Pastor Edwin Moore presiding.

Christine was born in Moore County on October 28, 1934 to Howard and Edna Williams Shields. She retired from Acme McCrary. She loved shopping, making pound cakes and spending time with her family and friends.

Christine is survived by her sister, Marilyn S. Cockman, of Siler City; nieces, Gina Christoffersen, of Salisbury,  Pam Cockman, of Siler City and Wanita Latta (Sean), of Greensboro; one great-niece; two great-nephews and a host of family and friends.
