Brenda Owen

Ms. Brenda Gail Milligan Owen, age 67, of Wilson Road in Robbins passed away, Thursday, January 1, 2015 at her home.

Graveside Service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015, at 2pm at Prosperity Friends Church in Robbins with Rev. Terry Reynolds  officating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall, and other times at the home.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur M. Milligan and Maezell Cain Milligan.  Ms. Owen was preceded in death by her parents; Granddaughter Jessica Ann Brady; and Brother Arthur Milligan Sr.

She is survived by one daughter, Cathy Brady and husband Paul of Robbins, N.C., Two brothers, Glenn Milligan and James Milligan and wife Beverly all of Siler City, N.C. and one grandson, Owen Brady of Robbins, N.C. .

She was a retired Registered Nurse, with a Bachelor’s Degree, and had worked at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, Randolph Hospital in Asheboro, and Chatham Hospital in Siler City. She loved working in the yard, birds, being at the beach, but most of all loved her family, her grandson Owen, but most of all loved the LORD.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers, Memorials be made to Cancer Care Fund Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374, or Prosperity Friends Church Cemetery Fund, 2487 River Road, Robbins, NC 27325
