Anna Gilbert Jamison

Anna Mary Gilbert Jamison, 79, of Bear Creek, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Central Carolina Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Darrell Garner presiding. Burial will follow the service. The family will return to the fellowship hall following the committal and will receive friends at that time.

Anna was born in Camden County, NJ on August 1, 1945 to John and Gertrude Whitzal Gilbert. She worked as a waitress in New Jersey for seventeen years. She enjoyed cooking, baking and catering parties. Anna loved the outdoors, fishing and deer hunting with her husband. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends whenever she could.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Anna is survived by her husband of 48 years, Paul A. Jamison, Jr.; daughter, Teresa Ann Brown (William), of Payson, AZ; sons, Eugene J. Geiser, Jr. (fiancé, Paula), of Sanford and Paul Albert “Jamie” Jamison III (Jennifer “Lizz”), of Bear Creek; grandchildren, Shane, Jamie, Julie and Kyle; one great-grandchild and a host of family and friends.
