Mrs. Agnes Lorene Minton, 85, of Bennett died Saturday, October 3, 2015 at her home. The visitation will be held Sunday evening, October 4, 2015 from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at Joyce-Brady Chapel in Bennett, N.C. The funeral service will be graveside, held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 2 p.m., at Bennett Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Tim Strider officiating.
Agnes was born in Chatham County on November 5, 1929. She is the daughter of the late George and Beatrice Jordan. She retired from Boling Chair Company where she worked as a furniture sander. She is survived by her husband Vernon Minton of the home, One daughter, Brenda Kivett and husband Larry of Bennett, N.C. One son, Wayne Minton of Bennett, N.C., and One grandson, David Kivett also of Bennett, N.C.
